Idiom Theater located
on Cornwall Street, is putting on another round of “Serial Killers” starting
November 4th and ending on December 14th. The competition
is held every fall and runs for five weeks. Theatrical teams sign up to be in
the competition in which they have to come up with a story and act out an
episode of the story every Saturday for five weeks. The audience “kills” (votes
out) teams out of the competition after each week and the last team standing
receives $1,000 as the reward. This year there are eight teams running.
The shows are played
twice every week, once at 8 p.m. and another at 10 p.m. The votes are all counted
and announced at the last showing but the audience that attended the previous
showing will be able to view the results
online. Admission is ten dollars a ticket; however, the tickets for “Serial
Killers” are not available for purchase yet. Season passes
for 2013-2014 are available.
